Happy Holiday Recipe

Autumn, the transition season between summer and winter, officially begins on September 1 according to the meteorological calendar. Even though the days are still warm, it’s actually time to start thinking about winter. As an event planner, I always think about the seasons related to the popular events for that time of year. So, of course, when I begin to think about winter, my thoughts naturally turn to the holidays.

Honestly, it’s not too early. People frequently become stressed as the holidays are approaching. However, with some excellent planning, this can be a stress-free, fantastic time spent with family and friends. Now is the perfect time to imagine the holiday season that you want to have this year.

Here are some things to consider:

-       Are you planning on entertaining?

-       Do you want to host an epic splash or intimate affair with just close friends?

-       What decorations, if any, do you want?

-       Who will receive gifts this year?

-       Will you be celebrating another special event along with the holidays?

-       Have travel arrangements been made?

-       What’s the budget?

Make this the year that you commit to having the perfect holiday season, whatever it may be. Let September be the month to dream about December; and, then, let’s work together in October to make it happen.
