Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice
Truth be told, I really hate to see summer come to an end. I love the long days; outdoor parties; and those light, refreshing drinks. However, one of the really great things about Fall is pumpkin spice. The aroma is so comforting, and you can find it almost everywhere during this time of year. For example, you can find pumpkin spice aromatherapy, protein shakes, almonds, and body moisturizer. Of course, you can also get one of my favorite things – pumpkin spice latte. SO YUMMY!
Here is an easy recipe from www.allricepes.com that I particularly enjoy, and so I thought that I would share it with you.
Quick Pumpkin Spice Latte
1 cup milk divided1 tablespoon white sugar (or more to taste)1 tablespoon pumpkin puree1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice½ teaspoon vanilla extract¼ cup brewed espresso
1. Wisk ½ cup milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Wisk in remaining ½ cup milk.
2. Pour milk mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp. Return milk mixture to saucepan and simmer, whisking 2 minutes. Add espresso and whisk until foamy, 1 minute.
3. Drink up and savor the warm and cozy feeling inside.
