+ What is your hourly rate?
Debra’s Details & Designs charges for the total suite of services provided per engagement and does not charge by the hour.
+ Are you insured?
Yes, Debra’s Details & Designs carries Commercial General Liability insurance coverage.
+ How do I secure Debra’s Details & Designs for event planning or décor services?
One of Debra’s favorite things is consulting with people about their upcoming events and designing ways to transform a vision to reality. After the 30-minute initial consultation and contract signature with deposit takes place, your event date is locked in.
+ What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellations and postponements must be given in writing.
Debra’s Details & Designs does not schedule other events either the day before or after your affair. Therefore, cancellation and rescheduling fees represent a reasonable estimate of loss suffered from the reduced likelihood of an alternate booking for the same date. Deposits made prior to written notification of either the cancelled or rescheduled event are non-refundable.
If the event is rescheduled to a date or time that Debra’s Details & Designs is unavailable, we will attempt to locate another planner whose fee for remaining services needed will not exceed your original budget. However, this is not a guarantee.
+ Do you only plan weddings?
We plan all types of events, not just weddings, and also provide décor services. In addition, we arrange Caribbean vacations and destination events of all kinds at Sandals and Beaches resorts free of charge.
+ Do you provide “day-of” wedding planning services?
There really is no such thing as a “day-of” wedding planner. In order to successfully and efficiently manage the wedding day activities, the planner should be engaged a least a month before. Our Basic Planning package is the “month-of” package that you are looking for which ensures that the wedding you have planned is executed according to your specifications.
+ What is the difference between a venue and wedding coordinator?
This is a great question that many people struggle with. Both coordinators are key to making the wedding day a success; and, they must work together closely. The difference is that the venue coordinator solely represents the venue and will ensure that the premises are ready for your event. On the other hand, the wedding coordinator works on behalf of the couple to ensure that the logistics for the entire day are planned and performed.
